Roman Recipes?

Apologies if this doesn't really fit with your posting policy but could anyone help out a poor struggling club leader with some helpful advice about holding a Roman banquet? We cater for children between the ages of 9 and 11 with an interest in archaeolgy and thought that it would be nice to host a banquet for them as a Christmas treat. I need information on such things as

- seating arrangements
- dress (particularly simple togas)
- entertainment (u-certificate!)
- etiquette

and especially

- Food!

Can anyone recommend any simple and easy to prepare dishes which children might enjoy making or eating? Cold dishes would be ideal.

The aim of the group is to provide educational activities which bolster an understanding of the past so we'd like to be as accurate as possible. Please post replies here. Thank you!
